JACK KANG
Jack joined Soochow CSSD Capital Markets (Asia) in 2023. Prior to this, he was heading up Corporate Finance at Haitong International Securities and prior to Haitong, he was Head of UOB Group’s Regional Equity Capital Markets. He has over 20 years of equity capital markets experience with Haitong International, UOB Singapore, CIMB Bank Berhad (Singapore), and Phillip Capital Group (Singapore). Jack’s investment banking experience has been predominantly focused on origination and syndication work on over 150 primary issuances in the regional equity stock markets.
Jack holds an Upper Second (Honors) Bachelor Degree in Information Systems from University of Leeds UK and he was the Chairman of Association Bank of Singapore Standing Committee on Corporate Finance (2015-2017).
JASON CHIAN
Jason joined SCCM as Head of Investment Banking in April 2024. Jason has more than 25 years of experience in Singapore’s corporate finance sector and has served at several major financial institutions including CIMB Bank, DBS Bank and Overseas Union Bank. Prior to joining SCCM, Jason headed the Corporate Finance team of CIMB Bank in Singapore for several years.
Jason holds a Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University (Sydney), and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). His professional qualifications and designations include CFA (USA), Chartered Accountant (Singapore), and Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (Singapore).
KOH BOON PIN
Koh Boon Pin has more than 20 years of experience in the investment banking industry, including 15 years with DBS Bank, where he completed numerous IPOs of local and foreign large corporates, SMEs and real estate investment trusts. He was also involved in corporate spin off and demerger exercises, listing via introduction, rights issues of shares, units and convertible perpetual preferred units, and the evaluation of potential acquisition targets of DBS Bank.
Boon Pin holds a Second Upper Honours in Accountancy and an Executive Master of Public Administration (conducted in Chinese) from Nanyang Technological University. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore and was awarded the Chartered FinTech Professional qualification. He currently sits on the Board of CFA Society Singapore. He is also the General Secretary of the Nanyang Centre of Public Administration Alumni Association Protem Executive Committee, and the Vice President of the Business China Advanced Leaders Programme Alumni Executive Committee.
WALTER LU
Walter has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, principally in the areas of investment banking, regulation and audit services. Before joining SCCM, he had many years of investment banking experience, including his most recent stint at UOB Kay Hian, where he was a team leader at the Corporate Finance Department.
Prior to UOB Kay Hian, he spent 5 years in the IPO Admissions Department of SGX where he was primarily involved in the assessment of IPO/RTO applications, accreditation/authorisation of Issue Managers, Sponsors and Registered Professionals, and formulating policies and listing rules for the primary market.
Walter received a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University.
Linson Lai
Linson has 4 years of experience in the financial services industry since university. Before joining SCCM, he was at Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator where he was exposed to Agri-food Technology, Industrial and Synthetic Biology, and Human and Veterinary Sciences projects in Southeast Asia within the Temasek portfolio, including corporate spin-offs and venture capital investments.
Linson received a Bachelor of Business Management with Double Major in Quantitative Finance and Finance from Singapore Management University (Magna Cum Laude).
